The United Center is a multifunction arena located in the Near West Side of Chicago, Illinois. The arena is home to the famous Chicago Bulls of the NBA and Chicago Blackhawks of the NHL. Along with basketball and hockey games, the center has hosted various sports events, concerts, and conventions: NBA finals, Stanley finals, Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament, Illinois College Basketball, U2, The Rolling Stones, The Who, and the 1996 Democratic National Convention.
The center is located between two parallel CTA subway lines. The center is a nine-minute walk from the Illinois Medical District Station Blue line and thirteen-minute walk from Ashland Station on the Green and Pink line making the center an easily accessible venue for commuters. The arena offers express bus on game days that runs for an hour and stops 30 minutes before the game. The center also offers exclusive services such as the BMO Harris Club, Budweiser Champions Club, and Lexus Club.
